Capital Campaign and Current Projects

Steeple Renovation Project

Thanks to the generosity of long-time parishioner Barbara Painter, we have completed the much-needed repairs and refurbishment of the Church’s steeple. All old tiles have been removed and replaced with beautiful new slate tiles that mirror the appearance and colors of the original 1817 slate. New wood sheathing has been installed, window remediation is complete, and the new copper spire topper, designed to replicate the original damaged piece, was installed in mid-November. This elegant copper top will not only serve as a lightning rod but also provide a beautiful adornment to the Church.

As we celebrate the successful restoration of the steeple, we also look ahead to August 2026, when St. Paul’s will undergo a comprehensive stucco project to preserve further and enhance the exterior of our historic building. Click here to learn more about Barbara Painter.

Improving Infrastructure, Beauty, and Safety at St. Paul’s

Thank you for your interest in supporting the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Capital Campaign. We appreciate your commitment to making sure we preserve our almost 200-year-old church and buildings, so that future generations will know that we value our relationship with the Sacred and wish to pass that legacy on to those who follow us. The funds generated from our Capital Campaign are used to improve our infrastructure and ensure that our Church campus is not only beautiful, but also safe and environmentally friendly.

There are several ways of donating to the capital campaign. Whether you’d like to give a single gift or schedule ongoing donations, you can do it all online using your bank account or credit/debit card.

Giving online using on-line banking/e-check:  (St. Paul’s preferred method of receiving gifts)

  1. Log on to your bank’s website and click on the link for the “Bill Pay” feature.
  2. Add St. Paul’s Episcopal Church as a payee to your on-line bill pay checking account and designate whether you are making a one-time donation or scheduling recurring donations. Please be sure to designate clearly that your donation is for the 2024-2026 Capital Campaign.
  3. Set up a recurring payment to be sent to St. Paul’s on a scheduled basis (eg, weekly, monthly). You may also give a “one time” gift using this option.
  4. Each time you designate that a gift be given, your bank will mail a check to St. Paul’s.  This check will be deposited directly electronically into the Church’s bank account just like a regular, hand-written check.

Giving online using a credit/debit card:
You can use a credit or debit card to make either a one-time gift or a recurring gift to St. Paul’s Capital Campaign. When you donate with a credit or debit card, there is no fee incurred by you; the Church will incur all processing fees thereby reducing the net of your donation.   To use this pay option, you may do it electronically using our on-line payment form.  Please be advised that there is an option for you to cover the processing fee costs if you so choose, on the on-line form.  Click here to access the on-line Capital Campaign form.

Donating by cash or check:
Cash and check contributions can be placed on the collection plate at any worship service. We gladly accept checks in person or through the mail. Checks should be made out to St. Paul’s Church and designated for the capital campaign. Please mail checks to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1105 East Lincoln Highway, Exton PA 19341
